National Health Policy Forum Exploring Comparative Effectiveness Forum
This first forum in a series on comparative effectiveness addressed fundamentals of evidence-based health care and provided an introduction to the Cochrane Collaboration. Childbirth Connection’s Executive Director gave a presentation on Childbirth Connection’s long-term national program to promote evidence-based maternity care and our work with the Cochrane Collaboration and use of its resources. American Academy of Family Physicians Family-Centered Maternity Care Course

National Quality Forum Implementation Conference
NQF's spring meeting and implementation conference focused on care coordination. Executive Director Maureen Corry represented NQF's Consumer Council on the closing panel, and Director of Programs Carol Sakala moderated a panel on communications with patients and families. Maureen Corry is Vice Chair of the NQF Consumer Council and serves as Co-Chair of the Steering Committee for NQF's Perinatal Care project.
