Hazel Corbin/Childbirth Connection Grant Thank you for your interest in the Hazel Corbin/Childbirth Connection Grant for Evidence-Based Midwifery Care. Formerly known as the Hazel Corbin Grant, this award honors the contributions of Hazel Corbin, who served as General Director of Childbirth Connection (formerly Maternity Center Association) for 42 years. This award is administered by the American College of Nurse-Midwives Foundation, Inc. (A.C.N.M. Foundation) and is designed to support or augment projects that advance knowledge of the safety and/or effectiveness of midwifery practices for mothers and newborns and application of this knowledge. Professionals from a wide range of fields and settings are eligible to apply; applicants need not be midwives. All applicants must adhere to the clearly described guidelines available as part of the application process. All guidelines and application information for this award can be found at the A.C.N.M.
